House Pet - Rusty the Kangaroo
During a recent integration into Brazilian life and introduction to Australian culture evening in my house, I introduced Rusty the kangaroo as the new house pet to my flatmates.
He has now been lovingly adopted by the whole house and even has his own place to call home - Limbo land under the stairs.
Somehow he was given and Indian flag to wear, which he does with pride, but I hope to get him his own Australian flag.
Any visitors to the house love to meet him and now he is getting a reputation with our friends!
He is here to share the year with me and hopefully some of the trips that I take around Brazil. However he is really very large so there are times when I think he's going to have to stay at home.
Check out some more photos of him at my photos webpage. there are also some new photos of my team at team days as well.
Love Ya,
Lucy

Hey Luce,
Glad to hear Rusty is fitting in well, though was that a Tim Tam someone was offering him? You really shouldn't waste something as precious as that on a kangaroo...
Keep blogging (and eating Tim Tams!)

Well luckily, Rusty didn't feel too much like tim tams that night. He much prefered the Bundaberg rum!
It was a silly Brazilliano that offered the Tim Tam to him - mine was already gone.
