Living in Sao Paolo
Finally, after some technical difficulties I’m able to actually post some stuff on my weblog....
.....So, Sao Paolo Brazil; city of somewhere between 11-17 Million people, no one can agree on the size and a population in the state of 40 million people, all fitting a space the size of about Tasmania. This is taking some getting used to. Even in a city of this size it’s not often that I feel overwhelmed is on the metro. Thankfully it is a very good metro and travel around the city is better then expected. Sao Paolo is a city of sky scrapers
For those who do not much about Brasil, Sao Paolo is about 5 hours to the west of Rio de Janerio and has a climate that is very similar to Sydney but with a much higher rainfall. The city is fairly hilly and is surrounded on one side by mountains
The AIESEC house and office has plenty of space but it is much colder then I expected at the moment. The house isn’t heated and the floor is wood or tiles.
I’m loving living here in Sao Paolo. Everything that you could ever need is here as long as you know where to find it. There is a fruit and vegetable on the next street from us every Friday so it’s so exciting to go an see all the exotic fruits and try new things.
Not missing much from Australia at all yet.

Hello Lucy,
Good to hear your news. I too am moving to Sao Paulo in October. I've just come back from this sprawling city and loved it. I'm going to be the art director of Vogue Brasil and I am looking forward to what adventures the year will unveil. How is your portugese going ? Are you having lessons? What area have you moved to. i'm going to be living in the Jardins area.
I'll carry on looking out for your updates any passed on knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Have a beautiful weekend.
