Sao Paolo Winter
Everybody told me that Sao Paolo was the rainy city and to ‘net expect the stereotype of Brazil’ for where I will be living. Well so far Sao Paolo hasn’t lived up to it’s reputation! In the five weeks I have been here It has felt much more like late spring then actually winter. Yes we’ve had a few cold days, but very few days of rain. There has been a lot of really warm weather as well. For example today will get to about 26 degrees centigrade, and on Thursday and Fridays when we were away in the hills for team days I got tanned the sun was out so much.
There is still the promise of winter, it is very windy and at night sometimes it gets very cold. There are times where I have definitely missed my ugg boots (the floor in my bedroom is tiled) but I will be happy if we keep these temperatures for another few months. I will be fixing up the garden soon though so I’m sure i’ll be begging for rain when I finish it.
