Green Fingers wins again
Most of you will know my love for the great outdoors and also my love of gardening. In every place that I have lived I have always had my little patch of dirt that I could make beautiful, useful and use as a way to relax.
Until now I haven't had much time to do anything at my new MC house, only planted a few herbs in August before heading to India and the AIESEC International Conference.
But this weekend, I've had a very 'stay at home' couple of days and have finally fixed the front garden bed in front of our house.
Many thanks to the friend who made a surprise vist to our house minutes before we were going to head off to the garden centre and promptly became our taxi. The patch needed a lot of work and so for the first time I bought dirt!
This morning before it rained, but after I made pancakes (a big part of a stay at home weekend) I had a lovely couple of hours brightening up the entrance to the house with flowers and also some green plants. Over the next few weeks I really want to work on our courtyard out the back but admittedly that is a much larger challenge.
I haven't found many people my age that enjoy gardening as much as I do but to me it is the perfect relaxation technique. I would love to know if someone else also shares my passion!

Hey.. I took care of my garden while at University for three years...
True all I did was water the plants (occassionally) and eat the fruits (frequently).. but they lived (sort of..)
