Australia Day in Brazil

Australia Day in Brazil was celebrated a few days later then is usually conventional but it didn't stop lots of friends coming around to the house to see what the usual fuss was about.

As you can see I actually managed a fairly decent Pavlova, on the second try. I should have taken a photo of my first attempt, this one is prize winning compared to it. Also on the menu ANZACs, damper, beer and bundy rum and of course good old vegemite on bread.

We had a great quiz but being hostmaster to 14 ~ people who probably had too much bundy was a challenge to say the least. Congratulations to the winners of the Quiz - Dea, Jhow and Gabi .......... 1st prize: one packet of awesome timtams.

.......... Will those responsible for the disappearance of the timtams shortly after the awarding of the prizes please return them to the rightful owners?????? (it was my last packet!!)
